Privacy Policy Contact Form
This section describes how to manage personal data that the user decides to provide by sending the contact form on the site www.suburbsoftheworld.org, site owned by the Institute for the History of Art of Lombardy – Onlus
This is information provided to users in relation to the rules set out in EU Regulation 2016/679 and in particular articles 12-23 of the same Regulation.

Data collected with the contact form
By filling out the contact form the user:
• communicate your name;
• communicate the email address to which you want to be contacted;
• write a message to be sent to info@suburbsoftheworld.org.
Purpose of the treatment
The name, the email address indicated by the user at the time of filling in the contact form and the information entered by the user in the body of the message are used exclusively to respond to the user’s request.
Recipients of personal data
Personal data collected by Istituto per la Storia dell’Arte Lombarda – Onlus through www.suburbsoftheworld.org may be processed by parties involved in the organization of the site (such as administrative, commercial, marketing, legal, system administrators) or from external personnel (as suppliers of third party technical services, mail carriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communication agencies) from time to time appointed, if necessary, Data Processors pursuant to art. 4 n.8) GDPR which defines as “controller” the natural or legal person, public authority, service or other body that processes personal data on behalf of the data controller.
In any case, each user can always ask the Data Controller for the updated list of data processors in the manner described in the section on user rights (by sending a mail to info@suburbsoftheworld.org)
With the exception of the aforementioned hypotheses, your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties except:
• the user has given his express consent to the communication;
• communication is necessary to provide the service or product requested by the user;
• communication is necessary in relation to third parties who collaborate with the Institute per la Storia dell’Arte Lombarda – Onlus to provide the service or product requested by the user. (in this case only the indispensable data for the provision of the service or the supply of the product will be communicated, and it is forbidden to use the same data for different purposes).
• is required by law.
Retention period
The information given by the user with the completion of the contact form (name, email address, text of the message) will be processed and stored for the time strictly necessary for the realization of the purpose for which it was collected, that is to send the answer to the submitted question.
Right of access
The interested party has the right to ask the Data Controller whether the processing of personal data concerning him is being processed and, if so, to obtain access to them and the following information:
1. The purposes of the processing;
2. the categories of data in question;
3. the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be communicated, in particular if recipients of third countries or international organizations;
4. when possible, the retention period of the personal data provided or, if not possible, the criteria used to determine this period;
5. the existence of the right of the data subject to request the data controller to rectify or delete personal data or limit the processing of personal data concerning him or to oppose their treatment;
6. the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority;
7. if the data are not collected from the data subject, all information available on their origin;
8. the existence of an automated decision-making process, including the profiling referred to in Article 22 (1) and (4) and, at least in such cases, significant information on the logic used, as well as the importance and expected consequences of such processing for the interested party.
Where personal data are transferred to a third country or to an international organization, the data subject has the right to be informed of the existence of adequate safeguards pursuant to Article 46 relating to the transfer.
Institute for the History of Lombard Art – Onlus specifies that:
• Does not communicate users’ personal data to international organizations or third countries;
• The interested party has at any time the opportunity to request the rectification or cancellation of their personal data according to the methods indicated in the relevant section (by sending a mail to info@suburbsoftheworld.org).
• Personal data are not collected with fully automated procedures, but the user’s consent is always required that they enter their data in the form provided on the site.
Right to cancellation and right of rectification
The interested party has the right to obtain from the data controller:
• data correction, if they are not correct
• cancellation of personal data.
To exercise this right, you can send a written request to info@suburbsoftheworld.org.
The data controller will, without delay, in full compliance with the art. 17 of the European Regulation on the cancellation requested.
Right to limit the processing
The interested party has the right to obtain from the data controller the limitation of the treatment in the following cases:
• the interested party disputes the accuracy of their data: for the time necessary for the data controller to verify its accuracy;
• unlawful processing: the interested party opposes the cancellation and asks that its use be limited;
• the interested party opposes the treatment pursuant to art. 21 paragraph 1 pending verification of the possible prevalence of the legitimate reasons of the data controller with respect to those of the interested party.
Institute for the History of Lombard Art – Onlus states that:
The processing of personal data takes place only after the release of the user’s consent, solely for the purposes specified from time to time at the time of collecting personal data. In case the interested party considers exercising the right to limit the treatment, he can send a written request to info@suburbsoftheworld.org.
Right to propose a complaint
The interested party has the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority.
