The project “30 x 40 x 50 SUBURBS OF THE WORLD” intends to provide an opportunity to reflect on the theme of the contemporary city and the urban periphery, becoming a moment of international and multidisciplinary confrontation on environments, societies and stories that are inevitably heterogeneous and very different from each other, investigating the very concept of suburbs and urban fragility in different continents.
Exhibitions, conferences and debates will be a formal expression of the larger project, which also aims to promote photography as a means of knowledge and critical analysis of the urbanized and urbanized space, enhancing the work and research carried out by young people and academics from around the world.
